Citrus fruits, yogurt, cucumber- That’s what most people picture about when they hear the word healthy breakfast. But little did they know that these foods are not as healthy as they think when consumed on an empty stomach. Below are the foods that you should not consume on an empty stomach.

Tomatoes

Studies show that eating tomatoes for breakfast can increase acidity in the stomach. This is because of the tannic acid they contain. It can lead to gastric ulcers.

Coffee

Drinking coffee on an empty stomach can lead to stomach acidity. Moreover, they can cause stomach upset and nausea.
