Most people confuse love at first sight and infatuation with real love and this has become one of the major reasons why relationships crumble faster than they were even created. L.O.V.E means different things to different people but when you love someone, you can feel it for real. Here are six signs you are not really in love:

 

1.) You keep convincing yourself you like your partner:

You can care for someone deeply and personally but it doesn't mean you are in love with this person. In most cases, the person in this situation will always have to convince his/herself that h/she is really in love by using different means … with the hope that feeling could be true.

2.) Formerly cute habits become annoying to you

 This is a clear sign you were infatuated with your partner. His/her characters haven’t changed, it’s just you that changed because you no longer love them anymore.

3.) You're embarrassed by your partner in public

You now hate to appear with your partner in public because you are constantly embarrassed by anything they do or say whenever you two step out. If you truly love someone, you'd be more amused than ashamed of them.

 

4.) You think only about yourself

It's practically difficult for a selfish and narcissist people to love somebody else. Even though they might feel something, it'll be hard for them to love completely because of their nature. A self-absorbed person finds it hard to fall in love. They just pretend to.

5.) You're only scared to be alone

People constantly live in denial, claiming they are in love when truthfully, they are not! They are just scared to end up being alone. Instead, they will do everything it takes to have someone beside them including lying and pretending to be in love with them

6. Do you think of your partner often?

You’ll always think of your partner every day, if you’re really in love with them. As the relationship grows older, it gets better because you’ll still think about them doesn’t matter how far apart you both are.
